NFL Adjusts to COVID Season

The NFL has had to adjust and tweak its schedule this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, and week 6 was no different.

Week 6 of the NFL’s regular season started on Sunday instead of Thursday due to several staff members of the Tennessee Titans testing positive for the Corona Virus. The Jets continued their losing streak (0-6) by losing to the Miami Dolphins (0-24).

Currently in the National Football Conference, the Seahawks lead NFC west (5-0), Bears lead NFC north (5-1), Buccaneers lead NFC south (4-2) and the Cowboys lead the NFC east (2-4).

In the American Football League, the Bills lead the AFC east (4-2), Steelers lead NFC north (5-0), AFC south is led by Titans (5-0) and the chiefs lead AFC west (5-1).

Overall, the Seahawks are top team for NFC and Steelers are top for AFC. Steelers are also ranked first in NFL and the Bears have climbed to fifth place.

The top plays this week consist of Jets safety Marcus Maye, who somehow managed to trap the football on his backside, get into position and receive an interception from Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Rob Gronkowski caught his first touchdown in 679 days from Tom Brady.

Lastly, Aaron Rodgers managed to throw back to back interceptions.

Week 7 starts with the Ny Giants (1-5) playing against the Philadelphia Eagles (1-4-1).
