The band revs up the crowd at a home football game.

When it comes to school spirit, the Loyola Academy Band is always there to support and bring constant energy. The Band enjoys bringing the fun to the football games through its various cheers, songs, and traditions. The Band is always loud and proud for our boys in maroon and gold.

Recently, the Loyola Academy Band had a fall concert to show off their full display of marching music. There were full length songs like We’re Not Gonna Take It and I Want You Back, and short pop tunes including 7 Nation Army and Imperial March. The audience found the show entertaining, and sang the lyrics of many of the tunes as the band played them.

Aleah Parafinczuk, junior and Band President, expressed her favorite moment during the concert, “My favorite part of this year’s Fall Band Concert was being able to showcase the hard work of the band and drumline through all of marching season.”

As the marching season comes to a close (although LAMB has their fingers crossed for State 2018!), the Band is transitioning into its concert season.

The next Band concert will be the combined fine arts Christmas Concert on Dec. 1, 2018 at Christian Heritage in Northfield, IL. Be sure to buy tickets, and come check out the Band, Orchestra, Guitar Ensemble, Choirs, and more for a festive evening! More details to come.
