Ford Escape Titanium Is a Great Choice
April 4, 2019
With a completely new design, the 2018 Ford Escape is a great choice for any car buyer.
The 2018 Ford Escape is a four door compact sports utility vehicle. Overall, the car has a very solid overall performance, high safety scores, and a great reliability rating. The Escape is one of the top selling cars in the compact SUV class.
There are several special features of the Escape. The car is equipped with an intelligent four wheel drive system. This system allows the driver to get enhanced traction if the car ever slips. It also has three different types of engines to pick from. The Titanium trim, which I am reviewing, contains a 245-horsepower turbo charged engine. The engine gets roughly 20-23 miles per gallon in the city and around 27-30 on the highway. The car also features Microsoft technology throughout the car and several other features like a sunroof.
The Ford Escape’s handling is sporty, which makes it a very fun car to drive. Also, the Turbo- charged engine sounds very unique and it provides an excellent driving experience. There is plenty of space for five average-sized people to sit comfortably for a long road trip. The car is very technologically advanced. It has several safety features and scored very well on most crash tests.
The one negative about the car is the gas mileage. The engine consumes extra gas because of the size of the engine, but Ford advertises that their Eco-Boost technology saves gas. Although most compact SUVs have better gas mileage, the overall driving feel and quality of the Ford Escape make it a better car.
This car is recommended to anybody looking for a compact sports utility vehicle. It is perfect for first time drivers because of its safety features and durability. The car is also fairly well priced and could be a great option for new couples or families. Due to its driving feel, the 2018 Ford Escape is also recommended for anyone looking for a faster, more sporty SUV.
