This Tuesday, October 22, the first boys soccer playoff game will be held at Niles North at 6:30. This big game against GBN is a win or go home situation. Both teams want to have a good start to the playoffs and are ready to do whatever it takes. 

Although the Loyola Boys Varsity soccer team has never played against GBN, it should be an exciting game because of both of their levels of competitiveness. 

According to senior Austin Agyemang, “We are favored to win this game because we are the 5th seed and they are the 12th seed. On paper, we have the best players but that doesn’t mean anything if we don’t come out ready to play and outwork them.”

Austin also says that he thinks everyone on the team is a key player and is happy all the returns play a key role on the team. 

A regular audience member, Claire Larsen, looks forward to tonight’s game because as she said “it’s playoffs, it makes everything more fun.”

I’m excited for my friends on the team because I know they will work their hardest to take this win. GBN has nothing on us.
