It is almost Thanksgiving and that means it is time to talk about food. Be ready to jump into a rabbit hole of deliciousness and festivity.
In this article, the foods will be ranked and judged individually on a one to ten scale.
To start off, I would give stuffing a nine because it is so flavorful. So many vegetables can be put in the center of the stuffing to bring a unique flavor. The softness of the bread allows for a texture that is always pleasant. This dish is overall a good choice.
Next, pumpkin pie. I would rank pumpkin pie at a seven because it tastes great, but it is basic. Other than the taste, nothing really jumps out at me. The combination of nutmeg and the pumpkin create a magical taste.
Moving on to another classic, turkey. For me, turkey gets a five because I could take it or leave it. It tastes great but can be dry at times. However, throw in some gravy and you have a good time.
We are now going to mashed potatoes. I am going to rank mashed potatoes with a nine because mashed potatoes taste amazing. The texture is creamy and soft. I always get excited when I eat mashed potatoes on Thanksgiving.
Next going on cranberry sauce. I would rank this with a four because cranberry sauce tastes really sweet and delicious. However, I do not like the lumps of cranberry that are in it. Despite this, cranberry sauce is still a fantastic addition to the Thanksgiving table every year.
Green beans are next. Green beans get an eight because green beans taste awesome. You can also season them with any spice you want. The spices including salt and garlic powder are what make green beans taste great.
Last but certainly not least, sweet potatoes. The ranking I would give sweet potatoes is a ten because when my family eats these on Thanksgiving, we eat them with added marshmallows. The marshmallows pair up with the sweetness of the potatoes wonderfully. The combo of the two is an instant party in your mouth.
When you are eating these foods on Thanksgiving, feel free to rank them on your own one to ten scale.
