Nobody does the holidays better than Loyola Academy. From the Christmas trees throughout the school to the cheerful tinsel hanging in the halls, this winter season is going strong.
The Ornament Auction, open from December 1-7, is selling hand-painted ornaments created by Loyola’s very own. They are available to be viewed and chosen in the front lobby, so don’t miss out!
Student Activities has a table for clubs to decorate their own Christmas tree. Simply pick one up and take time to customize and embellish it to represent your extracurricular.
The Christmas Concert is this Friday, December 6, as well as Saturday, December 7 in the Performing Arts Center. Starting at 7 p.m., this event showcases the terrific performances of the immensely talented choir, complete with classic Christmas songs and meaningful scripture readings and hymns.
Also on Friday, the Gingerbread House Party is being hosted by Campus Ministry. Groups of four can come to decorate their own gingerbread house right after school.
For sports fans, the Jesuit Cup is being held on December 13. With boys and girls varsity basketball teams playing against St. Ignatius, this event is sure to be thrilling! Located at Loyola University, be ready to cheer on your fellow Ramblers—and to wear gold for the theme Gold Rush.
